Religious Education

Religious education at Orchards has been ambitiously sequenced to provide the platform for students to explore their own ideas of morals, ethics and faith and respond with structured and reflective discoveries, steeped in evidence and purpose. The curriculum is balanced and broad, developing knowledge over time allowing for personal and peer challenge, that will then form the foundation for who our young people grow up to be.

The curriculum also places a large stock in culture capital and ways in which students are able to function and contribute effectively in a modern society. Students learn about the origins and beliefs of religions that have influenced the lives of millions, whilst evolving their own understanding of identity, meaning and purpose in life.
