Finance

Finance lessons in Year 9 introduce students to the impact of finance on the economy and encourages them to consider how this can affect businesses and individuals. Through this it develops knowledge and a valuable range of applied and transferable skills. It provides a foundation for further study in business and finance-related disciplines.  

As a KS4 option, learners are given the opportunity to find out more about the financial services sector. Topics covered include financial services, financial products and their application, and finance in business.  This qualification provides an enriching and detailed introduction to the world of finance, relating to real-life application while ensuring learning is assessed in a practical and applied manner.
