Year 7 & 8 Parent Event - Literacy and Reading Evening
Thank you to all of the families that attended our Year 7 and 8 Literacy and Reading Information Evening earlier this week, bracing the cold to find out what we are doing at Orchards to encourage the love of reading and to also give some advice for how parents and carers can support at home.
The feedback we received was lovely to read with 10/10 given across the board for the overall rating of the event along with comments describing "how useful" the event was, "knowing what resources are available and how to use them" and having a "clearer understanding of the assessments and Bedrock/Accelerated Reader".
