Designated Safeguarding Lead: Ms Sharon Dudley- Deputy Head
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mrs Natalie Willbourn- Executive Headteacher
Dear Parents and Carers,
The most important thing that we can do for the young people that we work with is to keep them safe. This is not an easy thing to do when the modern world and the growth of technology constantly present new challenges.
This area of our website is designed to offer you the latest advice and guidance on those matters that cause the greatest concerns and which offer the biggest potential for harm.
It will be updated by us here at Orchards Academy as new information becomes available and should not replace the personal support and guidance that we offer here at school.
It has been selected to be of help to you in managing the dangers our young people face but we welcome comments, questions and concerns at any time.
Please do not hesitate to contact here at school should you have any worries at all about your son/ daughter, it is by working together that we can support our young people and tackle those threats that could undermine their potential to be safe.
Ms Sharon Dudley
Deputy Headteacher and Designated Child Protection Lead
