We are very proud of all our Year 11 students who have received their GCSE results at Orchards Academy in what has been the most challenging of years.

The manner in which they dealt with the changes to their exams and the challenges of online learning at home is reflective of the mature and resilient nature of our students. The students' hard work and dedication to their studies was evident and resulted in 66% of pupils achieving a 4+ and 43% achieving a 5+ in English and Maths. Students once again performed significantly well in English, Maths, Science, PE, Art and their vocational qualifications including Events and Hospitality.

‘It is only right that the students at Orchards Academy should be celebrating another year of excellent results. The manner in which they have dealt with the disruption to their last two years of education is nothing short of exceptional. All the staff at Orchards Academy are very proud of the students and wish them all the best as they embark on the next chapter of their education.’

Natalie Willbourn, Executive Headteacher
